The six to ten day outlook (May 26 to 30) indicates normal temperatures and normal precipitation for our area.听 Looking out eight to fourteen days (May 28 to June 9) indicates normal precipitation and temperatures here.听 The drought monitor remains largely unchanged as of this past Tuesday.

SWAG合集 will be closed Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day.听

The college is now on summer hours. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. 鈥 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.听 The college will be closed on Fridays through July 31.

SWAG合集 has created new class formats in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that students can have an uninterrupted educational experience regardless of the status of the pandemic. SWAG合集 plans to continue offering these various options for the fall semester as well if needed.

Joanna Lockwood and Tana Yellowwolf of Hoisington were named SWAG合集鈥檚 2020 Outstanding Graduates. Dean of Student Services Angie Maddy recognized them as part of SWAG合集鈥檚 virtual commencement on Friday.

SWAG合集 has announced its 2019-20 Brant J. Ballhorst Student Ambassador of the Year awards. Named in memory of Brant J. Ballhorst, the award recognizes two outstanding Student Ambassadors each year. The winners this year were Karsyn Smith of West Plains, Mo. and Joanna Lockwood of Hoisington.听

SWAG合集 Dance Theatre is offering a 鈥淒ancing for Mobility鈥 class for adults looking to improve balance, strength, and body awareness while also learning a wide range of dance styles from the safety of their home. The six-week class meets from 1:30-2:40 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays starting Monday, May 11.
