The six to ten day outlook (May 26 to 30) indicates normal temperatures and normal precipitation for our area.Ìý Looking out eight to fourteen days (May 28 to June 9) indicates normal precipitation and temperatures here.Ìý The drought monitor remains largely unchanged as of this past Tuesday.

SWAGºÏ¼¯ will be closed Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day.Ìý

The college is now on summer hours. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.Ìý The college will be closed on Fridays through July 31.

SWAGºÏ¼¯ has created new class formats in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that students can have an uninterrupted educational experience regardless of the status of the pandemic. SWAGºÏ¼¯ plans to continue offering these various options for the fall semester as well if needed.

SWAGºÏ¼¯ is now offering the following formats:

LiveOnline – scheduled meeting time; all students participating via Zoom.

Joanna Lockwood and Tana Yellowwolf of Hoisington were named SWAGºÏ¼¯â€™s 2020 Outstanding Graduates. Dean of Student Services Angie Maddy recognized them as part of SWAGºÏ¼¯â€™s virtual commencement on Friday.

SWAGºÏ¼¯ has announced its 2019-20 Brant J. Ballhorst Student Ambassador of the Year awards. Named in memory of Brant J. Ballhorst, the award recognizes two outstanding Student Ambassadors each year. The winners this year were Karsyn Smith of West Plains, Mo. and Joanna Lockwood of Hoisington.Ìý
