SWAG�ϼ� Athletic Director Trevor Rolfs (left) and Director of Admissions Tana Cooper (right) present a $1,500 check to Gail Moeder of Camp Hope on Wednesday in the SWAG�ϼ� Gym. The donation was from SWAG�ϼ� Athletics’ annual “Pink Out Night,” which was held Jan. 30 and featured a variety of coordinated activities to raise money for Camp Hope.��

SWAG�ϼ� will present a student recital of instrumental and vocal performances at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 7 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel, located in the Fine Arts Building, F-157.�� The recital is free.

SWAG�ϼ� art students will line the walls of the Shafer Art Gallery with their work during the “SWAG�ϼ� Student Art Exhibit” juried art show from 6-8 p.m. April 1. The show will run through April 23.

SWAG�ϼ� has stepped up its game in terms of safety and preparedness in recent months. New emergency notification apps and other enhancements have been paired with a recent series of trainings for employees on the college’s Run Hide Fight response to active shooters.

The public is invited to observe a Vocal Masterclass forum from 3-5:30 p.m. (session one) and from 6:15-8:30 p.m. (session 2) on April 1 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel in the Fine Arts Building at SWAG�ϼ�.�� The forum is open to the public. Anyone interested in learning more about vocal technique and performing is encouraged to attend one or both of the sessions.��

A participant from the 2012 clay shoot takes aim down range.�� The shoot will now feature two (instead of one) target shooters at each of the 10 stations and there will also be two-person flurries, which will give shooters an opportunity to practice or compete amongst themselves for bragging rights.����

SWAG�ϼ� will be closed on Friday, March 25 and Monday, March 28 for Easter break. SWAG�ϼ�'s Center for Adult Education and Shafer Art Gallery will also be closed. The college's regular class schedule and office hours will resume Tuesday, March 29.
