SWAG合集鈥檚 Prairie Winds Concert and Jazz Bands will present a winter-themed concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. The band will be performing music from various artists with Christmas music and songs of winter.

On January 8, 2018, Scales Technician classes will begin as SWAG合集 launches its newest program. The program is completed in one semester of vigorous training and preparing students for the weights & measures industry upon completion.

Midwest Energy, Inc. made its first donation to the SWAG合集 Foundation in support of the Academic Enrichment Fund Campaign 30 years ago. The Foundation once again received the annual donation like clockwork. Since September of 1987, Midwest Energy, Inc. has contributed more than $71,000 for scholarships, program development and advancement at SWAG合集.

Academics Month 2017:听This story is the first of four in a series focused on some of SWAG合集鈥檚 popular traditional academic offerings. The series was inspired by the inaugural SWAG合集 Academics Month through November. A new story will be released each week.

Kurt Konda is halfway through his first semester as the new sociology instructor at SWAG合集, and he said it鈥檚 everything he expected.

Each year, as part of the Theatre Program at SWAG合集, students are asked to take the reins and produce a show entirely by themselves. This year the production is titled 鈥淗orror Movie Survival Guide鈥 which will make its one-night debut at 7 p.m. Nov. 6 in the SWAG合集 Fine Arts Auditorium.

Just in time to follow up Halloween, 鈥淗orror Movie Survival Guide鈥, a comedy, looks at some of the Hollywood horror clich茅s and shows how these situations could be avoided by following some helpful tips.

SWAG合集 will offer transitioning Fort Riley Soldiers a grant-funded two-week certificate program at no cost to participants. The Hazardous Waste Worker (HWW) program gives Soldiers credentials to help them find work after their tenure in the US Army ends.
