SWAG�ϼ� will help area high school seniors plan for their futures at Senior Day, starting at 9 a.m. Nov. 19, with a sign-up deadline of Nov. 1.

SWAG�ϼ� and the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce will host the fourth annual “After Hours” event from 5-7 p.m. Oct. 21 at Camp Aldrich, featuring cinnamon rolls, cider, chili, wine and beer, and multiple giveaways.

As of Tuesday, September 16th, the drought monitor report indicates little change except the little bit of increased moderate drought in North Central and Northeast Kansas with an increase in abnormally dry conditions along the Missouri border.��

SWAG�ϼ� will host a blood drive��from 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. Oct. 2 in the Case New Holland Lab, Room T-186 (northeast corner of campus). Donors will be able to sign up for a $10 Amazon e-gift card from the American Red Cross.

SWAG�ϼ� has announced its list of graduates who earned associate degrees or certificates for career training during the summer semester of 2025.

The Shafer Art Gallery, in collaboration with artist Brian Hutchinson, is reviving a selection of printing plates created by historic Kansas printmaker Orlin C. Baker.

Fueled by her desire to care for animals large and small, recent SWAG�ϼ� at Fort Riley student Brittani Nelson knew that getting her associate degree while on active duty was the best way to save time and money in pursuing her dream job as a veterinarian.

The proceeds from items sold, underwriters, program ads, and ticket sales netted more than $60,000 at the 46th Annual SWAG�ϼ� Foundation’s Big Benefit Auction on Aug. 23, which will benefit students directly through scholarships and program enhancements at SWAG�ϼ�.

SWAG�ϼ�’s Fine and Performing Arts faculty will come together for a special collaborative event showcasing their talents through live performances and displayed art pieces inspired by their colleague’s creative work at 5 p.m. Sept. 18 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
