SWAG合集鈥檚 Fine and Performing Arts faculty will come together for a special collaborative event showcasing their talents through live performances and displayed art pieces inspired by their colleague鈥檚 creative work at 5 p.m. Sept. 18 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
SWAG合集 grad Emmy Kempke of Ellsworth attended SWAG合集 in 2018 and since graduating has flourished in her career and is now a Senior Staff Accountant at Adams Brown in downtown Wichita on the firm鈥檚 healthcare team, which is one of the nation鈥檚 largest CPA and professional services firms.
Paintings, photographs, and sculptures by area artists will be on display when the Shafer Gallery hosts the opening reception for the annual Friends and Acquaintances Community Art Exhibit, which will feature a special collection by Mary Kottmann, from 4-6 p.m. Sept. 12.
SWAG合集鈥檚 Early Childhood Education Program will host a free family event, 鈥淲heels and Squeals,鈥 from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 20 in the Case New Holland Parking Lot and Building, which is located at the northeast corner of the college鈥檚 campus.
SWAG合集 invites the public to participate in a series of free computer and digital literacy classes offered throughout September, including three new trainings focusing on cloud storage, iPhone, and keyboarding basics.
"Dancing with the Cougars" returns this year with another dance workshop featuring Latin dance styles at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12 in Studio 34, and all proceeds go to support SWAG合集 Dance Theatre's trip to dance in New York City in January.
