SWAG合集 will offer transitioning Fort Riley Soldiers, Veterans and family members with DOD ID cards, a grant-funded two-week certificate program at no cost to participants.

The Hazardous Waste Worker Training (HWWT) program gives Soldiers credentials to help them find work after their tenure in the US Army ends. The next course is set from March 18-29 at 100 Continental Ave, Grandview Plaza, which is just north of I-70 at exit 299.

The SWAG合集 Theatre Department鈥檚 three performances of the late Neil Simon鈥檚 farce, 鈥淩umors鈥, are set for 7:30 p.m. March 1 and 2, with a matinee at 2 p.m. March 3. Tickets are $5 at the door. Students are admitted free.

SWAG合集 Welding Instructor Wade Morris spent 35 years fusing metal as a pipeline welder, foreman and in various other roles before coming to SWAG合集 in the fall of 2018; he knows what it takes to be a good welder. Skill and technique are important technical proficiencies, he said, but the real basis of mastering the trade is found a little deeper.

The SWAG合集 Foundation Sporting Clay Shoot has become a staple in the event schedule of avid sportsmen across Kansas and beyond, drawing shooters from Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri and Texas. The 10th annual shoot is set for Sunday, April 14 at Camp Aldrich.
