Nurses who graduate from the SWAG合集 Licensed Practical Nurse program will now have an extra skillset to make them more valuable in the workforce; they have the option to be IV certified.
Activities and all classes at SWAG合集's SWAG合集 County campus are canceled and offices will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 16, due to weather.

SWAG合集 has named 261 students to the President鈥檚 List for the fall 2020 semester. To qualify for this honor students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.

SWAG合集 has named 283 students to the Dean鈥檚 List for the fall 2020 semester. To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.

A career in nursing can take any number of turns down myriad paths, like working as a traveling nurse or a home health professional. Greg Allison, RN, took a road less traveled. He spent about eight years working as a nurse after finishing the program at SWAG合集, then he followed his entrepreneurial instinct to open a company that provides skilled nurses to healthcare providers, AllStaff Chartered in Great Bend.

As a little girl in Mexico, six-year-old Jessica Perez spent many days in her Aunt Ana鈥檚 dance class practicing with the other students, until one day, someone handed her a microphone and she started singing along with the dance numbers. She remembers that day vividly as the beginning of a love for music that would guide her journey through life, and now she is sharing that love with others as a Vocal Instructor at SWAG合集.
Dance students wanting to learn more about dancing in college are invited to attend SWAG合集鈥檚 second annual 鈥淪WAG合集 Cougar Dance Day,鈥 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 25. Those interested can sign up at shows.bartonccc.edu.
