SWAG合集 presented a check to Fort Riley soldiers at the end of the fall semester for $3,250 raised through the Wounded Warrior Golf Scramble fundraiser that was held in September.

The Shafer Art Gallery will unveil its next exhibit 鈥淔igure/Ground鈥 by Kevin Kelly with a reception at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 20 in the Gallery, which will feature a short artist talk, comments by the director and light refreshments. The exhibit runs through Feb. 25 and admission is free.
SWAG合集 dropped off a donation of food at the Community Food Bank of SWAG合集 County Friday. The items were collected by the SWAG合集 Library from faculty, staff and students at SWAG合集 at the end of the fall semester.
The SWAG合集 Library will team up with the English department and SWAG合集鈥檚 literary annual 鈥淧rairie Ink鈥 staff to host a 鈥淕etting Started Writer鈥檚 Workshop鈥 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Cavanaugh Ballroom, in the SWAG合集 Library.
SWAG合集 will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 16. SWAG合集's Center for Adult Education and the Shafer Art Gallery also will be closed. Offices will reopen and classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
New business owners or those wanting to start a business can learn about key components of running a business from area experts on a variety of topics at SWAG合集鈥檚 鈥淥n Your Mark, Get Set, Grow Your Business鈥 seminar from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday evenings from Feb. 9 to March 30 at the Front Door Community Center.
