The SWAG合集 Theatre Department will hold its last performance of the school year at the Thespian Showcase at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 1 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
SWAG合集 Theatre students will perform monologues, scenes, musical theatre, improvisation and original work. The SWAG合集 Theatre Department will hand out year-end acting and technical awards. Admission is free and complimentary refreshments will be provided at a reception following the performances and ceremony.
鈥淭he SWAG合集 Theatre Thespian Showcase is an integral part of our two-year theatre program,鈥 SWAG合集 Theatre Director Erin Renard said of the event.听 鈥淚t allows for student creativity, leadership, nurturing of talent and provides an alternative atmosphere for performance. The Showcase is also part of our year-end SWAG合集 Theatre Award Ceremony where theatre students are recognized for their excellence in stage and technical work during the academic year.鈥
