The SWAG合集 Theatre Department will hold open auditions by appointment only for its fall production of 鈥淐harley鈥檚 Aunt鈥 by Brandon Thomas and the One-Act Festival 鈥淲hat You Say When You Say It,鈥 from 5-9 p.m., Aug. 19-21 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. All roles and technical positions will be cast. No preparation is necessary, and all are invited to audition. The One-Act Festival will be put on by the production class. Those auditioning must contact Theatre Director Miller James at millerj@bartonccc.ed or (620) 792-9205 to set up an appointment.
Rehearsals for 鈥淐harley鈥檚 Aunt鈥 will begin Aug. 25 and run from 6-9 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The production will have four runs at the following dates and times and will be live-streamed: 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 3听and 2 p.m. Oct. 4. The play is a comedy that focuses on one wild afternoon of mistaken identity, young love, old love, angry uncles and one beautiful, exotic aunt.
Rehearsal dates and times for the One-Act Festival will be announced at a later date and the production will be live-streamed at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15.听 The festival is a collection of six one-act plays.
