Children aged three to eleven who love fairytales can enjoy a camp full of creative expression led by the SWAGϼ Dance Theatre students from 2-5 p.m. Nov. 8 in the Fine Arts Building.

Tickets are $20 per child and $10 per additional sibling (up to 3) and are available at .

The camp includes classes taught by SWAGϼ Dance students in dance, visual art, tumbling, and acting. There will also be a snack and movie time at the end. The camp is a fundraiser for SWAGϼ Dance Theatre's tour to New York City in January.

Fine and Performing Arts Coordinator and Dance Instructor Danika Bielek said she designed the fundraiser as a way for kids to enjoy being active while at the same time connecting her dancers with the community in a positive way.

“The dance students and I are looking forward to getting dressed up like our favorite fairytale characters and making creative things happen,” she said. “This is a great camp that gives parents a little break on the weekend while their children are having fun learning, imagining, and being mentored by our dancers.”
